Conquering Limits! Questa: Charity Bike Ride

Anthony Hoskisson, the Managing Director of Questa Chartered Financial Planners geared up to face the 40+mile charity bike ride from Manchester Media City to the Windmill in Lytham, on 27th August 2023.

Following 2 knee replacements, Anthony made the decision to challenge himself to undertake the bike ride, to raise money for Questa’s chosen charity, The Boathouse Youth. Despite his second knee operation just 8 months ago, Anthony was determined to complete the challenge and make a difference.

“I wanted to do something to show how grateful I am. And that’s where the idea for a cycling challenge came about. When I talked about taking on the challenge, colleagues and friends asked if they could get involved too. So, the whole event has taken on a life of its own. Hopefully, together, we can raise some money for The Boathouse Youth charity.”

Supporters then became riders, meaning that staff, clients, family, and friends of Questa would take on the challenge to embark on the four-hour, 40+mile journey from Manchester Media City to The Windmill in Lytham.

Financial Planner at Questa, Molly, said ‘’For anyone who knows me, you will know that sports is not my strong suit but challenging myself to this 40+ mile ride for The Boathouse Youth was a no brainer. The Boathouse Youth is a charity that myself and the rest of us at Questa Chartered Financial Planners hold very close to our hearts, due to it supporting youths right on our doorstep.’’.
