Camp Build Crew

Help us bring camp to life!

Before the young people arrive, the empty field needs to be fully transformed into an operational Summer Camp.

We’re looking for practical, energetic volunteers to help us set everything up and prepare the site for an incredible summer ahead.

Tasks may include:

  • Unpacking equipment from storage containers

  • Setting up tents and camp infrastructure

  • Carrying and positioning tables and benches

  • Preparing communal spaces

  • General lifting, shifting and teamwork tasks

  • Helping create a safe and welcoming environment

Mon – Thurs: 16:00-19:00
Fridays:  10:00-12:00

3-5 Volunteers Per Session

These volunteering sessions help support the day-to-day operation of camp whilst young people are on-site.

This is a brilliant opportunity for those who want to contribute to the camp experience without committing to full residential volunteering. 

Tasks may include:

  • Supporting the serving of meals

  • Preparing dining and communal areas

  • Washing up and helping keep facilities organised

  • Emptying bins and helping maintain the site

  • Supporting the smooth running of activities behind the scenes

  • Chatting with young people about your career, experiences and interests

Camp Pack Down Crew

10:00–13:00 / 13:00–16:00

As Summer Camp comes to an end, we need a final team of volunteers to help pack camp away safely and efficiently.

This role is essentially the reverse of setup day – taking down tents, packing equipment and helping return the site to normal.

Tasks may include:

  • Taking down tents and camp structures

  • Packing away equipment and supplies Loading storage containers

  • Clearing communal areas

  • General lifting and teamwork tasks
