We know that being off school is the best and we want to take the opportunity of making sure we can provide young people with some of the best memories during their time-off.
That’s why we provide between 250-300 places every day during the school holidays jam-packed with a whole host of different locally based activities that most can access from within walking distance of their home.
Story of our Summer
The school holidays can be brilliant, but it also means you’re out of routine, not seeing other adults who help to support you and might not be eating as healthily as you need to.
The Boathouse Youth can help with all of those things because we run daily holiday clubs that are jam-packed with fun, entertainment and healthy food to stop your bellies from growling!
The Holiday Activity & Food Programme is a nationally funded scheme that enables us to provide enriching activities and a healthy meal to all children living in Blackpool that are on free-school-meals or might otherwise need our support.

Every time I come here, I have a great day and a great time and the staff really take care of you when you're here. Every day I get a little bit stressed but when I'm at the Boathouse I calm down, because all of the staff help me and we have so much fun.
