A brilliant canal adventure packed with learning, laughter and teamwork
Our Pathway Group have been making waves (quite literally) on an unforgettable canal boating residential!
Travelling along the Grand Union Canal from Braunston Marina to Stoke Bruerne, the group completed an incredible 21 locks along the way. From steering the boat and working the locks to cooking, cleaning, and keeping things shipshape, everyone got stuck in and showed brilliant teamwork independence and confidence.
When they weren’t navigating the canal, the group spent time together – laughing, enjoying peaceful moments by the water, and soaking up the experience of life on board. In just a few days, they built new skills, made brilliant friendships and created memories they’ll be talking about for a long time.
Every single young person showed incredible teamwork, growing independence, and real confidence throughout the trip – stepping up, supporting each other and taking on challenges with genuine pride.
The group returned home with plenty of stories, new skills and memories to treasure after an incredible few days on the canal.
