The latest corporate member to join our family of patrons is Beaverbrooks the Jewellers, via their Charitable Trust. Following a meeting between Laurance Hancock, our CEO, and the Beaverbrooks charity committee at their HQ in St. Anneโs, the ever-growing national jewellery firm agreed to financially contribute towards our work by committing ยฃ25,000 per annum.
Major Donors and Corporate Patrons accounted for ยฃ600,000 worth of income during our Financial YE 31 December 2022. Our ever-growing charity is supported by several local businesses and we are always seeking to develop additional relationships that enable the realisation of our growth strategy to enhance both the quality and quantity of our Youth Work delivery.
Beaverbrooks Managing Director, Anna Blackburn, said โWe were all simply blown away by the work you are doing at The Boathouse Youth. We are delighted to become a Platinum Patron and look to build a relationship with the charity that explores further opportunities to work togetherโ.
The Beaverbrooks Charitable Trust was setup in the year 2000 and now donates 20% of the companyโs post-tax profits to charity. Since then, more than ยฃ17m has supported 750 charities. We are now delighted to be included within that statistic and thank Beaverbrooks for their commitment to social responsibility.
