Our Direct Engagement Programme is a series of project-based activities that are designed around our young people’s needs.
Perhaps you like the sound of Canal Boating, Camping or Cycling? Maybe Performing Arts, Gardening or Social Action is more your gig? Would you like to complete your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award?
Whatever your interests, there will almost certainly be something you can get your teeth stuck into here.
Young people participating in our Universal Programme and our Pathway Programme will be invited to participate in opportunities within our Direct Engagement Programme throughout the year.
Your involvement in this programme requires commitment from the start to the end of whatever the project is – this gives you the best chance of achieving your objectives. In most cases you will learn a specific set of skills and might even receive an accreditation.
We offer Direct Engagement opportunities to all age-groups, but the greatest emphasis is placed on our young people Aged 13+ as we prepare with life skills that you’ll require to become a successful and independent member of society.
